First time for everything...

Some pumpkins I carved a few weeks ago with some friends... not bad for my first time carving pumpkins. I really wanted carve one that looked like Darth Vader, guess I'll have to wait for next year.

Really Looking forward to this.

I have always been a fan of Top Chef, even before I started cooking professionally. While the last season was a little lackluster, Season 8: Allstars, looks very promising.

Plus it looks like Anthony Bourdain is going to be one of the returning guest judges on this season and he is always entertaining to watch.

Simplify

One of my roommates told me the other day that he had "unplugged himself from the matrix."

I could stand to do a little of that myself so goodbye myspace, twitter and all those other extraneous social networking outlets that no one really cares about unless you're rich and famous.

It's kinda funny because in school, one of my music business professors was constantly talking about making noise, getting your name out there and creating a buzz.

I don't need that.
